Lemon Rice Ingredients :
Rice – 3 cups
Onions finely chopped- 1
Lemon – 2 nos
Ginger, garlic finely chopped – 200 gms

Coriander powder – 1/2 spoon
turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
chilli powder – 1 spoon
peanuts – 100 gms
coriander leaves
salt to taste
Chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds, red chillies to garnish
Lemon Rice Preparation :
1) Heat some oil in a pan
2) Fry the mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal and the red chillies
3) Add onions to the oil fry them well
4) Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, peanuts and coriander powder to the oil
and let them blend with the mixture
5) Add some salt to taste
6) finally add the coriander leaves .
7) Boil the rice separately and leave them in a plate and let the rice to cool
down.
8) Add the lemon juice to the rice and then the mixture to the white rice.
